Many autoimmune diseases start from reactions to food sensitivities. The body sees these foods as enemies and attack them along with your own body. Gluten sensitivities are liked to Hashimoto's thyroiditis and IBS.
I can't have wheat as I have an intolerance to it and it hasn't helped me in any way with the fibro symptoms xx
I have a couple friends that swear that it has helped with the inflammation. I wish I could discipline myself to do that. I eat way too many sweets. They are a quick fix for energy. The doctor has recently put me on iron twice a day and that has helped quite a bit. I should be on vitamin D too. Many are finding that they are low in that.
Going gluten and dairy free has helped me .I have more energy and not as much pain. Overall I feel better off of them, but if I do eat them I get sick and feel horrible. I have been on this diet for 2 1/2 years.I have had fibro plus other medical issues for 8 +years.
Yes. Going gluten-free helped me.
