Also the best thing I have found is the spray that you can get to spray in your mouth vitamin d you can get different strengths and it's not vial it gets into your system quicker and is also a great alternative to tablets.

I used to be okay but now I am really low. My primary doctor ordered a script for once a week 50,000 units. Really! It is not time release. I am trying some 2,000 everyday to try to up it. I am trying to get more sunshine as we are now below the '90 and 100 mark in N. TX. Now I have strep throat so have to lay low for a bit.

I take 50,000 iu by prescription weekly. I haven't noticed any help with the fibro, but it did clear up some other issues. When tested my levels were very low. Been taking for about 8 months now and almost up in the normal range. My bones don't ache as much and my IBS doesn't flare nearly as often!

Vitamin d deficiency is common in fibro sufferers. If your thinking of supplements it depends how much vitamin d your naturally exposed to on how much you need to supplement it.
