Members confirmed that Raynaud's Syndrome commonly occurs alongside fibromyalgia, with many sharing that their Raynaud's appeared years before their fibro diagnosis and often worsens during fibro flares. Several members described how cold sensitivity affects their hands and feet year-round, with some experiencing white or purple fingers even in warm water, followed by aching and swelling. A recurring theme was the challenge of managing both conditions simultaneously, balanced by gratitude for supportive partners and determination to stay active despite daily pain.

I have Raynaud’s phenomenon. Which dr thinks is due to my multi vessel spasms. My vasospasms caused me to develop migraines, Raynaud’s phenomenon, prinzmetal angina, neuropathy, visual problems, heart attack, TIA'S and possibly fibromyalgia. I am only 42 y/o and and this all started when I was 26y/o. I've had to have a hysterectomy due hemorrhaging. I have pain everyday. Some days way worse than others but I try and stay positive and active as much as I can. I push myself everyday to do some type of exercise. I still work 40 hrs a week. It's hard but I am going to fight to stay employed as long as I can. I have a wonderful husband that helps me keep motivated. He understands if I say I can't do something he always is by my side to help me in any way he can. That's one thing I am blessed with is a fantastic husband.

Thanks for the comments everyone!!! I was curious if this was common and now I see it is. Good luck to everyone thru the winter months.

I have both diagnosed. I usually have trouble keeping my hands and feet warm enough not to have trouble with the Raynauds, so it's almost a constant. When my fibro flares, the Raynauds seems to get worse. Sympathetic? How nice! 😞

Me too. Runs in my family as well. Never thought of it in terms of my Fibro because my other family members don't have it.
