Foot Pain
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Most of my pain is in my feet and lower legs. I can't seem to find any relief from the constant pain. Has anyone gone to a foot doctor for this? Any help?

I recently went to a foot Dr. for this very reason. I have tendonitis which is an inflammation of the tendons. I will also be getting orthodics for my flat feet to build up the arches. The foot Dr. told me foot pain is common in people with Fibro because the feet have more tendons and ligaments than any other part of the body. I'm so glad I went because my GP said he didn't think that Fibro affected the feet!

My Neurologist put me on Lyrical and keppra. The Lyrical is for the neuropathy and the keppra is for a movement disorder.

Foot Dr. was no help. Over $100 for a splint to wear at night with no relief. The pain comes and goes but is especially bad when I first get out of bed or after sitting for prolonged periods.
