Members connected over the question of whether cold sore virus (herpes simplex) is linked to fibromyalgia, with many sharing that they experience frequent cold sores alongside flu-like symptoms, fatigue, and fibro flares. Several members expressed curiosity about Dr. Pridgen's research exploring antivirals as a potential treatment, with one member who is currently a patient of his reporting reduced pain and fewer illnesses since starting antiviral therapy. A recurring theme was cautious hope mixed with desperation for answers, as members questioned whether treating the dormant virus could address fibromyalgia symptoms and longed for more accessible research and treatment options in their own countries.

I'm one of his patients, I won't say that I'm any where near "cured" but my pain is less and being on the antivirals I think keeps me from getting so many bugs
