Well that response if very poor Gardener21. Find someone who can help. It took me quite a few years to find a doctor who would listen and treat me. I have suffered with this for over 30 years that I know of but was only diagnosed about 18 years ago. My medications do help though it never goes away, every day is a battle with one question in my head "can I get through some of the housework that needs doing" and if I do I then have a little go at the garden or cut the lawns. I live on my own so don't have any help with this so I have to do it. Then, if by some chance I get this work done in a day, the rest of the week is literally resting and recovering.

I was told it was from some type of trauma. Car accident and/or hysterectomy.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Yes! That's exactly what my GI doc explained. Although he said it was Hypersympathetic syndrome and that we have too much adrenaline. I'm wondering if your doc mentioned seeing an endocrinologist to deal with source of problem?

I was told in the beginning it was all in my head until I found a doctor that knew about this illness. I have now found out that the sudden death of my mother could have contributed to it. Also I was an insomniac for over 20 years so that added to my problems. Thankfully, if I can say that, my sleep patterns have improved in the last 6 months, so I am only experiencing one or two nights a week where the sleep is disturbed. I also have arthritis which is a pain in itself.
