At night I have some difficulty sleeping; I get comfortable and feel ready to sleep and then I feel hot and it just makes me feel wide awake. I then have to start all over again to become comfortable and try to sleep. This can sometimes happen 3 to 4 times in a night. Then it is really late when I do go to sleep.

Members deeply related to the frustrating cycle of feeling hot just as they settle into bed, with many describing the irony of being freezing cold during the day but overheating at night, making it nearly impossible to fall asleep. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped, including using peppermint tea throughout the day, keeping ceiling fans on, uncovering feet while sleeping, and talking to doctors about hormone replacement therapy or identifying medication side effects. A recurring theme was the emotional relief of knowing others share this exhausting experience and the determination to keep experimenting with solutions despite the nightly disruption.

I'm the same as @A MyFibroTeam Member. Hot ALL THE TIME and doesn't matter if I'm doing something physical or not. At work I am constantly sweating for no reason, just sitting there with a student and not doing anything physical. Sometimes it's bad enough I almost literally feel like that movie Airplane where water is pouring off of them. It's annoying and embarrassing.
