I am having a hard time finding a doctor that cares enough to help and one that understands

Don't give up.. I found that once I had a diagnosis, my general practitioner and my GYN have both helped me find the right med combination and have encouraged me so much. They have helped more than the specialist who diagnosed me!

Again, I suggest a pain management doctor. They manage your pain along with many other things. There is so much new stuff to try for pain. It is worth a try for both of you!

That is a problem for me too. My GP is pretty good, but finding a specialist where I live is near impossible. There are no Rheumatologists accepting Fibro patients. They outright refuse the referrals!
