Has Precnancy Made Anyone's Fibro Worse?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

So I have been pregnant once, but I unfortunately had a miscarriage around 3 months. I definitely want to start my family here in the near future but I don't know how it will effect my body. Has pregnancy made anybody hurt worse? I just don't know what to expect

Actually just the opposite. You will feel better during pregnancy than you have in a long time.

Pregnancy might make you feel better due to the hormones in your body. Most meds for fibro aren't good for the baby, but check with your DR. After having the baby, you could go back to having pain. I have a birth defect, which I learned after my 2nd baby in 2006. I have only right side of my reproductive organs. I'm missing left side of uterus, left fallopian tube and my left ovary is out of my pelvic area. My OB/GYN said I should get an ultra sound-sure enough I was born without my left kidney. I wish you the best of luck. Take Care.
