I have on Cymbalta for a while but my doctor increased my dosage a few months to 120mg. I have been experiencing the jitters and anxiety. My sleep is affected and I cant seem to keep still while in bed. Has anyone else experienced this???

Members shared mixed experiences with Cymbalta at higher doses, with several describing jitteriness, restless legs, teeth grinding, and severe sleep disturbances that sometimes required dosage adjustments or discontinuation despite the medication helping with pain and mood. Many members found success at lower doses (particularly 60mg instead of 120mg), with one member's doctor immediately reducing their dose after recognizing signs of a serious reaction that had escalated to insomnia and suicidal thoughts. A recurring theme was the highly individual nature of medication responses, with members emphasizing the importance of working closely with doctors to find the right balance and not hesitating to advocate for dosage changes when side effects become unmanageable.

Get to your dr asap and decrease the dose!!! I went through the same thing, I've been on cymbalta for several years now, at one point my doc upped my dose to 120mg and I pretty much had a psychotic break from it. Started out with jitters, anxiety, couldn't sleep, then progressed quickly to not sleeping for 5 days and becoming suicidal. As soon as my dr laid eyes on me he said "whoa, we need to back off the cymbalta NOW" I take 60mg a day now and I do really well on that:)

I was on it and it made me very jittery. It felt like my skin was crawling. I feel it surpressed my moods so much that I couldn't feel anything.

I have had great experience w cymbalta. Helps w my anxiety astronomically and no more sugar cravings like I was having on zoloft.
I am sorry your reaction to it hasn't been good. I know how maddening that can be.
