Yes, I tried this but reacted badly. One of the side effects, and we FM patients tend to experience them, is the inability to release urine from your bladder. It took a couple of months but my flow and abilty to release urine slowed then one day it stopped completely. It took several months to retrain my bladder and I had to cath myself during that period. My advice is to be aware of those body functions.
I have been on Neurontin for a year and a half, and I am only now after 17 years looking into the side effects of Neurontin and fibromyalgia, it seems that they both share in many of the same effects on the body , I tale 900 mgs but only have been at that dose for a 2 months . I don't take anything else for pain .
Guys have you tried the amitripoline. Doctors are now say that the trepiline is more effective with Fm patients . I am using it and feel great.
Yeah I take it three times a day to. Same here definitely notice a difference if I miss it to.
I took it years ago, but I have become so chemically sensitive that I would not touch it again.
