Recently I tested "reactive" for Epstein Barr Virus which supposedly means that I had the virus previously and it has been reactivated. My GP thinks it is irrelevant but I would think it could definitely contribute to chronic fatigue and mucle pain. Has anyone here been tested for this?

Yes I have it and same experience
Yes my levels are over what the charts read.
Epstein Barr virus is same as mono. It's a herpes virus.
"Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) is a human herpesvirus hiding in a latent form in memory B cells in the majority of the world population. Although, primary EBV infection is asymptomatic or causes a self-limiting disease, infectious mononucleosis, the virus is associated with a wide variety of neoplasms developing in immunosuppressed or immunodeficient individuals, but also in patients with an apparently intact immune system."
