Members shared mixed experiences with B12 injections for low B12 and fibromyalgia-related fatigue, with some feeling unsure if the shots help but afraid to stop, others noticing no change, and one member finding them helpful for sleep rather than energy. Several members described the relentless chronic fatigue that makes even basic tasks difficult, comparing it to wading through chest-deep water and feeling guilty about resting so much, while practical strategies included continuing injections consistently, adding oral B12 supplements, taking caffeine pills, showering to boost energy, and one member combining B12 shots with endermologie treatments to release painful muscle knots. A recurring theme was the frustration of persistent exhaustion despite treatment, the fear of worsening without B12, and the importance of ruling out other causes like nerve damage, which one member experienced as permanent effects resembling MS.

Found B12 injections extremely helpful. Boost of needed energy and actually wake up in the morning. Coupled B12 with endermologie to release deep tissue (intended for cellulite but thought it may break up my lactic acid, the painful tight knots). Very painful 30-min treatment but boy afterward, major relief of knots. Decreased pain, increased energy = better memory, focus and day-to-day being.

I have gotten B-12 injections for about 4 yrs now! I don't feel a difference that I realize but I'm afraid to stop taking them because I might get so much worse!!! I'm just tired all the time!!!

DonnaKay, I'm curious what kind of nerve damage you suffered. I have nerve damage in both arms, hands, and fingers. I asked the doc what might have caused it and he said "sometimes bad things just happen." I had ulnar nerve decompression surgery in July and some strength has returned but not the way I want. I'm getting results of an MRI on my neck tomorrow, we'll see what that brings.
