I felt better when I was pregnant
I was pregnant with my first child when I was diagnosed with fibro, I did natural childbirth no meds and after giving birth I had a flare up a bad because trauma was caused to my body.. I had another baby and my ob was very supportive and told me to take some meds when in labor. I did take stadal. And that help a little. But of course any trauma to the body gives us flare ups!! My ob did advice me to not have any more children, because of what it does to your body. I spoke to my husband and my MD and he advised me the same I should not do it again. Everyone is different and you know your body the best and you will know if you can handle it. Good luck!!
@A MyFibroTeam Member I would get a second opinion that just don't sound right.. Atleast I hope it's not!
I focused on my baby when in pain I would sit and rock him. I would think of the life and joy that was there. I would rub my belly and tell him how much I loved him.
I was pregnant 2 years ago. I had a lot of hip and back pain. Rest as much as you can but don't be afraid to take walks. Physical therapy and massage helps. I just made sure to drink lots of water which you should anyways. Going swimming is a God send.
