I am taking Elavi for anxiety, depression, and joint pain. And cannot be expose to the sun. So do I get in the sun, or do I go out?

My dr said that all you need is 15 minutes a day without sunscreen between 11 and 2 to get sufficient vitamin d.

Just be mindful of the sun when going out. Use sunscreen, sun glasses, hats, light clothing with long sleeves and long pants and you should be fine.

Does Elavil seem to cause weight gain even at low dose of 10mg? I was on it for about a decade for IC years ago n don't seem to remember but I don't think so. I'm considering trying it again.

Depends on what brings you more joy and peace of mind the sun or the Elavi. If its the sun... change anxiety meds....
