It seems like it takes a different "cocktail" of drugs for each of us to feel any relief, and it is also constantly changing. I don't think pain pills like Tramadol or Norco would do much good on their own without at least some Cymbalta, Lyrica, Gabapentin, or Savella. They had me on Cymbalta, Lyrica, and Savella, with Tramadol and Flexeril AND ambien. Then, we changed it to Cymbalta, Lyrica, Norco, Norflex, and Nortriptyline for sleep. At the moment this will help me get by, but only when I am being sedentary. However, if I try to hold off on the Norco, man oh man I can feel the pain! :( Plus, dealing with the side effects of these meds are almost as bad as the pain and fatigue!! Keep working with your team of Drs, KEEP A JOURNAL documenting your pain levels, what activities you could or couldn't do, side effects, and even what you ate. This is very helpful for the Drs to have, when needed. Gentle HUGS, and God Bless!
Try drinking a can of Tonic water at bed time not the diet one but the ones that contain Quinine it helps a little,
also certain meds make my restless legs worse I can't take Tylenol or cold medications that have any sleep aids in them I'm on clonazepam 0.5 mgs that helps me sleep without making my restless legs worse, good thing about Tonic water is that it has no side effects long as you don't put Gin in it LOL
It's a vicious circle we are in got to say only good thing about amitriptlylin he helps with my Restless legs at night and also helps with my insomnia Dr wanted to do a 2 in 1 as it's an anti d 2 so hoping to pick up my mood which when I'm feeling fustrated in pain like this nothing seems to help :( thanks both for reply x
