Members bonded over the unsettling sensation of bugs crawling on their legs, which many described as a neurological symptom of fibromyalgia that some call the creepy crawlies, with several finding relief through medications like Gabapentin, Lyrica, or clonazepam for restless leg syndrome. Many community members confirmed that fibromyalgia often occurs alongside IBS, which can cause alternating diarrhea and constipation, severe cramping, and food sensitivities, with one member sharing that eliminating aspartame completely resolved their IBS symptoms. A recurring theme was the frustration of hypersensitive skin and unpredictable digestive issues, met with encouragement to track food triggers, introduce foods slowly after flare-ups, and remember that they are not alone in navigating these uncomfortable symptoms.
