Jobs And Fibromyalgia.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

What types of jobs are the best for people struggling with Fibromygia?

I am a recent college graduate with my B.A in Psychology.

You could start your own counseling practice that specializes in helping people with fibro. If I had a choice to see someone who also suffers from this disease, I would feel better already!! Congrats on getting your ba!

Hi Im a practicing psychologist in Australia. I have had to stop work also. I am looking at working from home and counselling people via Skype. I never want to lose my career. I worked very hard to get where i am. You can too. Just gotta think outside the square a little. Best wishes to you.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure I would need to go back to school and get my Masters though. :( Just don't think I could handle school anymore either. :(

Thank you. I am finding my pain right now to be almost disabling. I get home from an 8 hour shift and can't do much of anything. I have been suffering most of my time at work too. Of course my work is not understanding at all. I feel so depressed that I have worked so hard and that my career already feels over. I'm only 23 and petrified I would need disability by 33.
