Use Of Tramadol
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is anyone using tramadol for pain? and if so, how much do you take and how often? Right now I am using it once a day at 100mg-----doesn't seem to last very long.

On the contrary. It is for moderate to severe pain. I've been using it for 6 yrs now and it's the only thing that keeps.me.moving. I take 100mg twice a day with a Panado . I lasts for more or less 12 hrs and has allowed me to retain full mobility and I have no pain. Side effects for me is dry mouth insomnia constipation. That's it.

Tramadol is not for pain even though the try to pass it as a narcotic I once was taking that & methadone for pain it didn't make sense to me. Fibro is nerves so we need a nerve meds (Valium Xanax etc..) & a pain med I've had it for 27 years & tried it all

Take the sustained release only as it prevents breakthrough pain. I am on 200 mg SR every twelve hours and have been for 17 years . Very few side effects for me ..I also take Venlaxafine 150 mg x 2 each morning.
