I am using a tincture made from a combination of Indica and Sativa strains and can't say enough good about it. Not only has it helped with pain, it has helped with sleep and reduced my anxiety. My blood pressure is back down to normal and I have even LOST weight. I don't get the munchies and am not eating from emotional issues like I was. It has a much smoother action than the Tramadol I was prescribed and does a better job. I really believe it is much better for one than prescription pain meds without the side effects and dangers. I recommend it if it is legal in your state. It's really done wonders for me.

Okay first of all I am talking about CBD Oil which is the oil that they extract from the canabis plant that does not contain THC that creates that feeling of being high and all of those adverse side effects that people always talk about. The CBD Oil is legal in all 50 states to purchase on line. There are not many local stores that sell CBD Oil but you can purchase it on line. Just check it out for yourselves so that you can see that it is legal to purchase. I would never post anything on here that was illegal or unsafe. HUGS

There is an enormous amount of information that has become available on this substance and its obvious benefits medicinally, not only for pain but for a host of other issues/illnesses/injuries! Here in Alaska it was recently legalized and I am very glad. I think suffering patients should be able to try every option possible so that they can find the things that work the best for each individual and if cannabis helps control and ease their pain with little if any side effects.......that sounds wonderful to me.

Come from decriminalised state in an illegal country, so it's hard, when it's not illegal you don't get choice of Indica or setiva, CBC, not THC, we have to take what we can get from who we can get it from, the best relief I've found was oil, a drop in a cup of tea or under my tongue and I could be up and about, oil I've found affects you from the neck down, I hear Indica is for pain, and Setiva for anxiety?
If it was legal we would have these choices, and options but we get a lucky dip, until we get it home we have no idea if it will work or if it won't, if it does yay you won the prize if it doesn't you got the boobie prize you paid for something that doesn't work!
We have friends who get us the trimmings from people, and we make butter, whatever we cook has a 90% chance of working but just as high a chance of messing with your head (again that comes to if we had a choice we could purchase the one that works all the time.)
The biggest problem here is in the raw form and under 3oz we get an on the spot fine, if it's oil or even butter, it's then becomes a man made product and becomes a narcotic which is not decriminalised! Therefore huge fine and maybe jail time, typical the two things that work for body pain !
So I smoke just a little enough to dull the pain, but not leave me a giggling zombie, if it becomes legal I'd like to become a dispensary as then I would get to try everything and find what works for what etc, you also get to know the suppliers rather than dealing with strangers... And my daughter in law is working on gel lollies but without the oil we can't do it, about 5 years ago we came across the real deal oil, something that hasn't been in Oz for years since the late 80's early 90's, but after 3 years they got caught for producing a narcotic... So no more oil, and he won't tell other people how to make it!
But cut to the chase yes it works for some/most people, if you have the privilege of medicinal, then ask them what do you use for pain, what's for anxiety, what can be used together, the same as you would any medication. Research, trial and error, is the only way, look up Nona Maijuana, there's a cooking show that has an episode with her making smoothies to chicken cacciatore she started because her now 45 yr old daughter was having seizures in her younger days, not if she has Maijuana though, Nona doesn't eat it but knows everything you could possibly know!
And her daughter runs the day to day harvesting and sorting, by a Setiva or Indica, and general body stone, whether they're hallucinating or not, all the side affects a chemist would tell you. I want to try the lollipops!
Hope my babbling has help blessed be
