Members shared enthusiastic praise for the versatility of organic coconut oil in response to a question about its uses, with applications ranging from skincare to cooking. Several members described using it as a natural moisturizer for face, body, and hair, as a carrier oil for essential oils like peppermint for sore feet and lavender for better sleep, and for DIY products including deodorant, toothpaste, and shaving cream. A recurring theme was how coconut oil replaced expensive store-bought products while delivering better results, with members reporting softer skin, reduced acne scarring, tamed frizzy hair, and immune system support when consumed daily.

Everything! DIY cosmetics of all kinds like nat04. Great body moisturizer well as facial. I try to ingest 2-3 tablespoons every day, either in foods or just from a spoon. I enjoy the taste, so it's never a problem to get enough. My skin stays softer, even when I don't use it topically. It is wonderful.

Since skin is the largest organ we have, I use Coconut oil for lotion, leg shaving creme, make-up remover, hair conditioner, foot softener, cuticle softener, and I cook with it. I could go on and on.
