Have started Lyrica to go along with the Duloxetine I have been on. I take Gabapentin during the day as I am noticing that Lyrica gives me jitters in the am. But it has given me the ability to get sleep at night for the last 2 nights. I have only been on it for 5 days. So a little progress in the forever uphill battle :)
Yeh I have put weight on just because I can't go to the gym an more and not wanted to cook much any more I ust to love cooking now I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel
It is definitely not easy to maintain a full-time job. I have just recently been promoted from part-time to full and I am having mixed emotions. I am can handle it for the better of 6 hours but the last 2 push me, and then I go home and at times break down crying cause I am in great pain. Trying a new medication so hoping it helps with this.
I was approved for ssdi on 1st try- make sure to send them anthing &everything to document your pain to show how much it prevents you from working. I even added notarized statements from friends & family
I am on long term disability and filing for SSDI. It isn't easy, but I was lucky to have a job and union that took care of the what ifs...who knew I was gonna need it. Can't work because I can't sit or stand for long....spasms and pain in my back made me start missing tons of work. so I had to go on short term disability and then it carried into Long term disability with another company. I haven't worked in a year.
gentle hugs
