I got mine and it lasted maybe 2 weeks, but not sure how long it's supposed to last. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated!

If u feel it didn't work. Call the dr again and get another appointment. Tell the secretary u got a shot and it wore off. What do u do now. She will be able to help u out a bit more. Or talk to the dr and get back to u!!

Hi, I have been getting regular cortisone shots for years in my shoulders for torn tendons and each shot usually lasts me 6 to 8 months. Sorry to hear they didn't seem to work for you, they sure work wonders for me

Thank you very much! I wasn't sure how long it was supposed to last. I have asthma, and worried I may have a buildup or intolerance to steroids which may cause the trigger point injections to not last as long. Yes, it's cortisone I believe is what was injected in my shoulders.

I've had 3 injection tons not in my trigger points but in my thumb wrist and shoulder. The one in my thumb wore off about 3 months and I'm sheduled to get another one Aug 12. So far my wrist and shoulder r ok. To answer ur question from what I read and was told everyone is different some people it could last year's. Where others only days. I hope this helps. If u mean a cortisone shot?

I get them right now in a 3 week rotation of different areas but I do not get the steroid with it. My dr n I discussed leaving it out. Some areas I get a couple weeks and some less time
