My hips, legs and feet have been extremely painful for the last two weeks. I'm having sharp pains all the way down to my feet. Is this fibro or a spine condition? I am desperate for relief. Pain pills make me sick.

My severe stabbing pain in my leg seems to be a pinched nerve in the back. I am lying on an ice pack. This seems to have helped.
Yeah I know I seen that a lot when I worked . If your physician is private practice you can get better service . Problem is so many work for hospitals/big corporations that their time is limited by how many patients they can see in a day week. Now if the pain clinic is willing to give you a epidural , you should ask if you are a candidate for a rhizotomy which sound scary but to me has been my saving grace. Please look into and make your own decisions because there's a long recovery time . I've been having them since 2004 and each time the recovery has been different. But I have had 9 months to 2 years pain free after each rhizotomy I've had . The rule of thumb is it takes 6month to a year for the nerves to grow back , but I've only once got less then a year
I suffer in exactly the same way. I have some bulging discs but they are not pinching the nerves. The neurologist says it's the Fibromyalgia.
If the sensation travel or radiates it's coming from your spine you should get a MRI of your back
I would say Fibro. My hips go out of line all the time. The best thing I have found for relief is a chiropractor. This has helped to get things back in order.
