I take temazepam it works and if you want over the counter I like unisom not the dyphenhydramine unisom though. The unisom tablets that contain Doxylamine succinate work best for otc.

I use Ambiem for sleep and Skelaxin for Muscle Relaxer

I have been on Ambiem for 20 years and that is the only thing that helps me with sleep, my doctor does not like me being on it but I told him it was either that or no sleep, more pain, more suicidal thoughts with the sleep depravation....

I take Lunesta, but also add Melatonin 10mg extended release and Volerian Root 1200mg every night. I sleep really well unless my pain wakes me up

Sleep issues are an important part of Fibro. There is a lot of info on-line of how to get to sleep, i.e. make room cooler if very warm, don't ever watch TV in bed, etc. If that process doesn't work you might talk to your doctor again to help you find out why you can't sleep (more likely you'll have to get him/her to send you to a sleep clinic). Think about your other meds - are they stimulants? Good luck!
