My neck is like cement. Somedays I am at work and can barely look when someone comes up to my desk.

I have occasional headaches, a few per month maybe. I have the constant neck pain and tightness like rigamortis like you said.

I have horrible neck, head and jaw pain. I went to family doctor, dentists, ENT, and Neurologist. They all told me that I was perfectly healthy. Its very frustrating to talk to doctors who don't or won`t try to understand. I spent several years going to appt after appt. only to be told everything was fine and they couldn't find anything. I had one doctor turn to my husband and ignore me and told my husband that there, pointing at me, was the problem as if I wasn't in the room or that I wasn't intelligent enough to understand him. Ihave become very frustrated and angry with doctors. Just because they don`t understand or can`t find a problem doesn`t mean my pain is not real.

Yes, my family doctor sees many patient's for chronic migraines and fibro so he became certified in the botox so he could give his patient's some relief from what he was seeing. My insurance approved it for the chronic migraines but he makes sure and gets it all the way down my shoulder muscles so it will relieve that pain as well because of our over-active nerves. I would not let just anyone do it.

I agree. I have had migraines since I was 6 years old and have had severe head, neck and shoulder pain for most of my life due to the fibromyalgia. Heat helps and, of course, lots of anti-inflammatory drugs with pain-killers dull it, but I also now do Botox injections in my scalp, down my neck and shoulder region. I don't go home everyday in excruciating pain and can function more like a human being more often than I was before.
