EJ, I'm new here and can't find the dates on people's posts so if this is old, I apologize.
I've been taking 400mg Magnesium for awhile now but was taking it for my headaches. It helps with so many things! I have noticed in the last year; when I first started getting sick with my fibro, before I knew what it was; that if I missed a day or two of it that I would feel off.
I would recommend that you look online for the different types of Magnesium and learn the best way for them to be absorbed. One of them is only absorbed 4% unless you take it with protein, for example.
Good luck. Hope it helps you.
Hi...I take 400mg magnesium twice a day along with 5000iu of D3. When I don't take it for a couple of days, the pain gradually gets worse. My 29 yr old daughter was complaining of over all body aches so I had her start a regimen of D3 2000iu 2X a day along with magnesium 250mg twice a day and she couldn't believe how much better she feels.
Sending you soft hugs.
I take the liquid magnesium and it does help a lot.
I've been taking Mag Ox since I was diagnosed with a deficiency. Didn't know it had anything to do with fibro. Nice to know. Thanks.
