@A MyFibroTeam Member I have TMJ and I use a cutom fit thermaguard nightguard from my dentist that is hard inside and soft outside which accommodates for the clenching and grinding and helps with headaches and saves your teeth! I used to be a dental assistant and I've tried man TMJ mouth guards and this one has been best.

Wow I didn't realized that. Because I have tension jaws that cracked sometime. Geez worry me that future how are we eat ??

I have both headaches on a daily basis, and I have had TMJ for years but for the past year it has been worse. I can't use a mouthguard because of my sinuses however I was told my headaches are not related to m TMJ because when I went to dentist before for the TMJ I wasn't having headaches. The daily headaches started for me at the same time all the pain started for a me a year ago

I'm curious about the jawache...I thought it was my jaw at first, but then felt pain in my neck just under my ear...I went to both the dentist for my jaw and an ENT for my ear...nothing wrong. Finally, I received a diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia...it's very painful. The nerve is pinched or something. I also have occipital neuralgia in the back of my neck..both started about a year after the fibro hit me...

I also used a night guard and it helps a lot.
