I've been on a camping trip with my family for 10 days. The Mosquitoes loved me. I'm itching so badly. The bites are not going away even after 10 days. Has any one been bitten and do you find that your body is not reacting correctly? Any recommendations to stop the itching torment?

Members offered a variety of remedies for persistent mosquito bite itching, with the most popular suggestions being Benadryl cream or oral antihistamines, chamomile lotion, aloe, clear Caladryl, and natural options like lavender essential oil or chickweed poultices. Several members shared creative home remedies including applying a hot spoon directly to the bite or rubbing it with a banana peel to temporarily relieve itching. A recurring theme was that fibromyalgia can amplify allergic reactions due to heightened nerve sensitivity and skin reactivity, with one member noting they developed hives days after leaving the mosquito area, highlighting how the body's response can be delayed or more severe than typical.

A hot spoon on the bite, or rubbing the bite with a banana peel, will take the itch away.

I use to be a misquteo magnet when we lived in MO but after going to ND their misquteos must have had injected something that the MO misquteos didn't like because after that I only get a few bites and I was no longer a misquteo magnet.
