I know stress effects this issue but I usually have it all the time. My mind just wants to jump all over when I'm trying to get even simple tasks done. I'm not ADHD or anything like that.

Members connected deeply over the struggle with focus and cognitive difficulties often called fibro fog, sharing how it affects daily tasks, work responsibilities, driving, and even remembering familiar routes. Several members described the frustration of feeling intelligent yet appearing vague or scattered to others, with some experiencing compounding challenges from conditions like dementia, brain lesions, or nerve damage that intensify the cognitive impact. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of losing former abilities and energy, the difficulty of explaining these invisible symptoms to partners and employers, and the shared longing for just one night of restful sleep and one day without pain.

I have been diagnosed with dementia. And have had an MRI of my Brain which showed I have several grey spots throughout my brain, it was explained to me as dead spots, were areas of my brain were damaged. this was before I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and fibrofog. Its very frustrating, I used to be so outgoing and full of energy. but that all changed when I got saddled with this terrible thing called Fibromyagia. I hate it, I hate what it has done to me.

Hi, yes I am the same. My partner made comment about it just this weekend, I sometimes think he feels I am just "dizzy" or in his words sometimes a little "weird". It is hard isn't it? I like to think I am intelligent yet am sure to many I seem vague and unable to focus on one subject. I feel for you . Are you in the UK? Here is to a hopeful good day x

I wish we could get people to understand this awful burden of an illness. I am now signed off for a month by my GP despite fighting to remain at work for months! This makes me stress and around the cycle we go ..... 😪 it saddens me to think of all of you reading this, that you also gave this burden x
