Every 6 months. Have had FM for 16 years. This seems to be the right length of time for me if everything is status quo. The great thing now is my Health Plan (Kaiser) lets me email or make phone appts. with my Doctor so I usually don't need to go in. That being said, I have a wonderful Doctor who is very responsive. Yeah!

My primary would let me go three months between appointments. Due to all the pain meds, sometimes it had to be every month. There are regulations that different drugs have to be monitored under. So even though I'm not having any problem on a new med, I will still have to be seen at certain intervals for whatever that med happens to be. Hope this helps, sweetie!
