Lumps, Bumps, And Ropey Bands In Thighs
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I get painful lumps and ropey muscles along the outside and inside of my thighs. I heard this is from myofascial tissue and common with fibro. Anyone else? What do you do? I've been alternating between cold packs and heating pad. Massaging is very painful and sometimes it alters my walking.

I have hundreds of pea to marble sized lumps in both things and upper arms. Presently the lumps on my left thigh are the only ones that are tender and painful. I see my RA doctor regularly and she has little to no interest in determining what they are. Neither does my PC doctor or any other doctor I have seen. I was referred to a pain management doctor and he prescribed pain meds and Lidocaine patches. The pain gets worse at night but the medications helps to get the pain to a tolerable level. I rarely get more that 4 hours of sleep at night. I have recently gotten some pretty good relief using a TENS type device I wear on my leg pretty much 24-7. Massaging is very very painful but seems to help so I try to do it just after removing the lidocaine patch. Dry brushing is next on my list of things to try........just hoping for a long term solution to the situation.

I have this same issue. Been trying to find out what it is. It feels like my fascia is inflammed or swollen or something more prominent. Hurts bad in some places.

That sounds like acumularon of fibrin and scar tissue. What had actually starting to melt them is Serrapeptase and Wobenzyme in empty stomach. I am in a pretty high dose. It actually melts them and you start to feel them smaller and smaller. The ones that werrr so big that it just felt like none instead of muscle under the skin, are now broken in small lumps . It seems that my estrogen so high contributed to the excessive production of fibrin. Years ago I had my small intestine respected, because a big ball of fibrin was obstructing it. I also had endometriosis my whole adult life. Check on Serrapeptase . Good luck amd gentle hugs <3
