I also take 5 mg flexural at bedtime.. along with 10 mg elavil...

I take amitriptylene at bedtime to help with sleep. Talk to you doctor about either the dosage or when you should take it. I guess it would depend what you take it for. Its one of those medications originally intended for other illnesses but found to help with symptoms we experience with Fibro. Hope this helps. Good luck. ((HUGS))

I don't feel groggy in the daytime though.

I'm on 25mg at bedtime. It helps some, but still not sleeping as well as I should be.

Right now im cutting 25 in half.
