Just curious if anyone has tried yoga and does it help at all or make the pain worse?
I tried a 6 week yoga class. The students were quite young and I found that it was fast paced. I was rolling around on the ground trying to get up into the next pose and by that time, they were on to something else. I am now attempting yoga that I have found on YouTube. At least, I can pause the instructor when I need to. I find that the stretches do help decrease the pain level.
Thanks DebCha. I belong to a gym but feel like if I work out a few times a week I start to.ache for days on end. Cardio is now my enemy. I found a yoga app. I'm going to try it
Yesterday I had the worse muscle pain. I haven't felt that bad in years. It woke me up in the middle of the night. My right upper leg and right shoulder we're going crazy. I loved swimming but getting to the Y was difficult. Their schedule of available times did not coincide well with my schedule and availability. I will be swimming in our public pools as soon as they are open this summer.
It can sometimes be useful but when you are stretched in one place for any prolonged period I find it makes things worse. Swimming is good maybe try aquafit .
