How Do You Lose Weight With Fibromyalgia?

I have been gaining weight because I require a lot of exercise to loose weight even with a good diet. Has anyone been able to lose weight and how?

I gained a lot of weight with the lyrics and the cymbalta... Just here recently I started a died of portions . any veggie you like cooked or raw. ,no frying anything , baked ,boiled, 1 cup each, if meat is needed 1 piece no bigger than a playing card. Lots of water fruits for snacks. Or 1/2 cup nuts. Use sandwich thins for bread, no mayo at all. Whole wheat multi grain bread for toast. The main thing is to eat 3 meals a day. Eat 3 snacks a day . if you can exercise it helps. I can't but I still lost 10 pounds.. Any questions let me know...good luck

I know that a lot of our medications can pack on the pounds no matter what we do. I researched them and changed several medications years ago to help with this. Around that time, I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic, so I eliminated all sugars and "simple" carbs, including fruit. This along with daily low impact exercise has helped me to lose over 100 pounds, but it has taken 10 years. I also feel better than I did before and I am able to handle the pain better as well. Like Mimi, I eat 3 meals and 3 snacks every day.
