Anyone in Canada know what I need to do to have Disability Stop denying me? I got it the first time but it was winter when my pain was a lot worse and you could see it.. Now it is summer and my pain gets a bit better in the summer as it is warm but I still live with chronic pain daily and they just dont understand I can go from one day to the next feeling great to being in bed. (though I fight that tooth and nail.
Provincial orcanada pension there are people who specialize in this for a fee.
I have a lawyer through the law clinic in perth they are free other then the doctors stuff.
Do some research and find a local disability advocacy provider (we have Disability Alliance BC here but I see you are in ONT). They should be able to offer you free advice on how to successfully appeal. Good luck!
I do have other issues, including mixed anxity and depression
I was asking my doctor about ODSP myself., he told me they don't recognize Fibro as a disease and it is hard to prove people have it. So they give people a hard time about it. It total none sence. Canadian Arthritis Society has Fibro down under the umbrella of being a diease. Keep fighting the good fight. Good luck.
