Asthma, Excema
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had a sudden onset of the above? Having never suffered before I'm hoping this isn't yet another fibromyalgia related problem.

I have asthma also, I think the fibro makes it more difficult.

No, those are not related to having fibro. But the fibro could have acted as a "trigger" to kick off the asthma. Both asthma and excema are also related to your autoimmune system.

Never asthma, but I did start to get itchy skin all over. I would scratch so much that I would break open skin. I did this fairly regularly for about a year or so. I just realized it stopped a few months ago. Random, and I don't know if it was eczema, but it was scarring up my legs, arms, all over for a while. Now it has thankfully stopped. I hope if you have this issue, it stops for you as well.

Well what a day, went to docs about my chest and rash and she scared me silly! Chest X-rays , bloods, ECG, and lung function test, well at least she was thorough, could be linked to me rheumatoid apparently! Glad I went , nearly never!
