Intense Burning Joint Pain After Being Still
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I get regular sore and tender joints, but this is different... It seems to happen primarily in my elbows and knees after I've been sitting or lying still for a little while with them bent. Once I start to straighten my leg/arm, suddenly my knee/elbow is ON FIRE. (Not the skin, but it feels more like all the muscles, bones, etc in the area.)

Does anyone else have this happen or know what it is?

Nico.... I was in high pain the past 3 days with insomnia. I didn't know we had a storm on the way. I'm hoping I can sleep tonight. I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Grammy, I appreciate it. It's raining like crazy here today, maybe that's why I'm in bed. Hope It's clear skies where you are!

That sounds different than what I experience, Nico. Mine is burning and it doesn't let us. I get it when I overdo or when it's going to rain. I'm sorry you are in so much pain! :(
