Newly Diagnosed
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 2 months ago so I'm still fairly new to all this. Where should I start as far as diet goes, what foods do I need to avoid, what foods do I need to be adding? Thank you for the help...

Avoid anything with artifical sweeteners ... diet drinks etc, try to reduce your sugar intake as well. Like so much with fibro working out what to eat and what to avoid is trial and error, what works for one person doesn't work for another. Good luck xxx

Try organic and fresh............no processed. No dairy, soy, gluten, potatos..............see how it works. You can start adding stuff back in later and see how you react. It may help and it may not. Anything is Always worth a try.........No pasta either....LOL I know.....it sucks!

Avoid gluten as much as possible. It's difficult because gluten hides behind a lot of ingredients like wheat for instance. Best of luck to you!
