Members connected over the shared experience of excessive sweating, particularly affecting the head and neck, describing episodes so intense that hair becomes soaking wet even in cold weather or immediately after showering, leading to significant embarrassment in public settings. Several members shared that these sweats are linked to fibromyalgia rather than menopause, with some noting that certain medications made symptoms worse, and practical strategies included using handheld fans, waiting to dress after showering, and trying clinical-strength deodorants like Mitchum. A recurring theme was the difficulty regulating body temperature, with members swinging from freezing to sweating within seconds, and the frustration that doctors often don't know how to help manage this disruptive symptom.

I sweat at the littlest activity and have hot flashes often. When others are freezing, I am sweating with a fan blowing on me. And I am not pre menopausal. I almost dread summer :-/
