Hi, I started on LDN about a month ago, 4.5mg capsules that my Dr ordered from their compounding pharmacy. I must say it has helped me tremendously. He even put me on butrans patch but I don't even use those. I tried just about everything and nothing else helped with my fibromyalgia. If your dr will prescribe it, please give it a try. They say it can take a couple weeks to feel the benefits but I noticed the first day. No side effects either. Love this medication.

I found that it took several weeks. So don't give up. I had some colorful dreams and Nothing to worry about. I started at 7 ml the went down to 6.5 . It is a mixture drug so I have to get it from a pharmacist that works with compound meds. I was told by Md that it will be a gradual feeling of Wellness and it was. When I first took it the taste was horrible. The pharmacy can add flavoring. Much better. Keep us posted I have been on it for over 2 years. Yes in larger dosages it helps with withdrawal of alcohol and narcotic use. It's such a tiny dosage that I don't worry. I still have flair ups when something happens physically and stress. I think it may be less of a flair and easier to recoup. I never have felt woozy or off kilter while taking this. I was also told to take it after 9pm each night

I stared in November using it in combination with Topiramate. I am not going to lie it was a very rough transition but so worth it. For the first time in over a year and a half I have had days even weeks with no pain! I feel like I am actually going to get my life back. I do have mild pain today but nothing like it was before and feel I can handle it by just using a vibrating heating massager on my legs. What a blessing. On the LDN I take 1.5 MG 3 times a day and I take 50 mg of the Topiramate 3 x per day. I also take 30 mg of Cymbalta 2 x per day my new dr took me off everything else and I feel a million times better.

I have a friend who uses it and says it really helps more than anything else, with less side effects.

My wife has been taking it in the morning. I've read a few accounts of people taking it at night, maybe I should suggest that to her. Thank you for your post!
