My hands and fingers often twitch when I an trying to do things like type or bead. My legs do as well as night when I'm trying to rest, could be med related but more likely is muscle firing as we have over active nerve fibers which can cause this.

Maureen actually if anything my meds are too low of a dosage. I was originally on Zoloft for my panic attacks and on Lyrica for the Fibro and I was doing good, but I got it into my head that I didn't like taking all that medication and had my Dr. switch me to Cymbalta. With the Cymbalta I don't have to take the Zolloft. Now that the Zoloft is out of my system my anxiety is very high again and I have developed a sensitivity to noise. My Dr. may have me on a low dose as she likes to ease you into things. I have to go and see her real soon. But you are right you have to look at all the angles for sure. Thank you

Yes! I have dealt with twitching the last 3 months. My Doc doesn't think it is med related because my last med change was over 45 days before it started. It does occur more often when I'm relaxed laying in bed or sitting watching TV. Although, it has happened at church (kicked person sitting next to me, so embarrassing); as well as, recently whilr driving. That was the scariest! My left arm twitched enough to cause it to pull the wheel toward the left lane. Luckily no one was near me. I did learn though my reflexe are still pretty good.

Hi. Some medications can cause twitching. Mention to your doctor. I had to change the dosage on one of my meds as it was causing twitching in my eyelid and my leg. Hope this helps. I'm new on the site.
