For about a month now,I've been getting what sounds like a ultrasound in my ear. This mostly happens when I am trying to fall asleep, and sometimes when I bend down.I think I have every symptom that is related to Fibro, that I think I Am becoming a hypochondriac.

Members shared their experiences with tinnitus and ear-related issues in fibromyalgia, with many describing constant ringing, white noise, sound sensitivity, and vertigo that often worsens during winter or stressful periods. Several members found some relief through strategies like using melatonin or sleep medications such as Ambien or amitriptyline to help manage sleep disruptions, playing background noise like radio or TV to distract from the ringing, and checking hearing aids if applicable. A recurring theme was the challenge of living with persistent ear symptoms that many have accepted as part of their condition, though stress, seasonal changes, and medication side effects may all play a role in symptom intensity.

I have terrible white noise in my ears at all times. I have just had to except it , have tried different supplement therapies with no success. I have read that this is common in Fibro patients.

I have had some very strange ear issues and haven't been able to track down a cause. Sounds cause pounding and noise sensitivity so bad sometimes I have to use ear plugs. I am finding that for me it is worse in winter than summer. I also get more vertigo in the winter.

I also have terrible noises in my ears more so the right ear, I find it gets worse if I am stressed.
I have trouble distinguishing different sounds and voices. I can hear fine one on one but if there is a lot of noise around me I have terrible trouble hearing.
It also seems like my whole head is stuffed with cottonwool at times and is about to explode.

I take amitriptyline every night but sometimes my sleep pattern goes all wonky on me I think it's the changing of seasons and changing the clocks an hour twice a year I have to use the melatonin to help get back to a somewhat normal sleep pattern. There is absolutely nothing normal about me lol
