Neuro Or Rheuma Doc
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

What type of doctor do folks see for their fibro treatment? I see a neurologist but it seems many see a rheumatologist....

I'm only 3 months into my diagnosis, so the Philosophy of Care Specialist is new to me. I'll have to check that out. I like my neurologist; just want to be sure I'm in the best place.

After doing research for one year I am looking into a "Philosophy of Care" Specialist. I have my first appointment tomorrow. Maybe I can finally get some control.

Went to the philosophy of Care doctor and left frustrated. Didn't. want to hear what I had to say and started prescribing pills which is what I don't want. she mentioned physical therapy. I have decided to take this journey on my own. maybe I should keep a journal to help others that want to manage fibromyalgia naturally.
