Specific Area Flare Ups
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have recently had a very painful flare up centered in my foot. It often happens that my flare ups are centered in specific areas. Is this common for others as well?

Lack Of Understanding Regarding Diagnosis
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question đź’

How do people cope when a family member does not understand about the effects that fibromyalgia has on you, to the extent that you are being accused of faking it just to get out of work! When you try to sit down and discuss things you get told to 'shut up' or 'I have pain to and have to get on with it'! (Especially as this family member has been told options to treat pain but refuses treatment!)

Has Anyone Seen A Change In Their Symptoms After Changing Their Diet?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question đź’

I can no longer take anti-inflammatory drugs, after 17 years my kidneys have said "no more!" . So, I was forced to change my diet in order to keep my kidneys as healthy as possible. This was a slow process over a couple months that we've been living for almost a year now. Our diet now looks like this
A. No processed foods
B. No breads, little to no pastas, rice or heavy starches
C. Heavy fruits and vegetables
D. Nuts, some whole grains: farrow, lintels, quinoa, chia seeds
E. Very little… read more

Does The Brain Fog Ever Improve?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have always been great at keeping up with appointments. Lately i have to write everything down in a planner. Now i am writting them on the wrong days and/or months or just not at all. I can not get my head together and it is very disheartening to me. I cant seem to remember much or it is all jumbled up in my head.

I put them in my phone so I get a reminder.

Also, any of you who haven't been tested .... are you curious to whether you have it and will you consider asking your doctor for a test?
