I live in England & I found both Reumatologist & pain management use less , I work with my Gp and he has my treatment under control & I trust him,

Can you spread out the consultations over time so that the financial impact is lessened? Maybe you see the rheumatologist as soon as possible and then the pain management specialist in a few months?

Rheumotologist or Pain Management?
I really felt my Rheumatologist was more
updated with treatment medication, over the counter supplements,and
fitness plan
that eased my pain.
Although can be difficult finding a
Rheumotologist,as unfortunately there
are still skeptical Rheumatoid doctors, as
Regarding FMS.I found this out from my
Primary Care doctor,when she told me a Rheumatoid doctor near her was a
non-believer.My former Rheumatoid doctor
retired and I asked my Primary for reference to new doctor for my FMS.

Rheumatologist is the best doctor for fibro.I saw doctor after doctor and the pain just got worse.Then
I finally got referred to a Rheumatologist and was diagnosed
immediately, finally I felt validated
for all the years of uncertainty and
pain.

They are good for referrals
