I had fantastic results, which I did the IV series in 2022. I did 3 six series and I went off all meds for Fibro AND I can go in for a "maintenance " if any symptoms come up. Ive done one maintenance since 2022. I did a ton of homework, and my PCP was the Head Surgeon for the Army and came out to head UTSW in Dallas...He was extremely supportive of me utilizing it before it even became "popular " on all the media apps.

Are ketamine infusions helping people with fibromyalgia?
Ketamine infusions have been gaining attention as a potential treatment for fibromyalgia pain. Ketamine works by blocking certain pain receptors in the brain, which may help "reset" the way the nervous system processes pain — something particularly relevant for fibromyalgia sufferers.
Some people report meaningful short-term relief from fibromyalgia symptoms after ketamine infusions, including reduced pain intensity and improved daily functioning. However, results can vary quite a bit from person to person.
A few important things to keep in mind:
- Effects may be temporary — many people need repeat infusions to maintain relief
- Side effects can include dissociation, nausea, dizziness, and elevated blood pressure during treatment
- Cost can be significant — infusions are often not covered by insurance for fibromyalgia
- Access varies — not all areas have clinics offering this treatment
- It's not a cure — it's typically used as part of a broader pain management plan
It's really worth having an open conversation with a pain specialist or rheumatologist to find out if it might be a good fit. They can weigh the potential benefits against any personal health factors that might make it less suitable.
