I wear weights on my ankles. When I walk I have these weights that wrap around the ankles. They have been a blessing. Really helped strengthen my legs. After the stroke I'd bang into alsorts. I never thought I'd be walking like I do. I literally willed myself. I'd say everynight 'Thank you for everything you have helped me with today' in the mornings I say ' Thank you for allowing me to walk, and helping me become stronger' it's 7 months after the second stroke. It actually had not dawned on me just how little time that is until my flat was up for renewal. I'd been here 4 months. It was a struggle yet one of those struggles you feel good about.
I knew I'd done the first one and came through so I had this determination to get even stronger. I ordered everything I needed. These are the best. I forget I've got them on. So much so I jumped on the bed ready to settle for awhile. Still with them attached to my ankles 😂 I love them.
We are back to normal weather now, cooler and raining today. So off I go to get raindrops on leaves and flowers. Yet the sun was coming out in-between and drying out all the flowers. I still got some great ones though. Hope you've all had a good day 🍃🌼🪻🥀😘
It's been so hot over here in the channel islands. Today we had a breeze.
I've managed to walk everyday. I do struggle in the heat. My fingers swell and my legs feel like weights. It's supposed to get hotter. It was Turkish weather the last few days. I walked outside and breathed in the sun. I've gone a nice shade though. There is always a plus. I believe it's record temps for may for quite awhile
Hi Angela thank you for checking it is awful here we had heat of 33 this week now down to 25 but still too hot for me feel very headachey hope you feel cooler in the North East♥️
Hi Angela it’s been a tough few days with the heat in the midlands, how is it in the north east? Usually a bit cooler there.
This heat is to hot for me. A nice 22c is perfect but over that and can't stand it. It makes me ache more believe it or not I don't know why. Xx
