Members discussed using CBD lotions for fibromyalgia muscle relaxation, with several recommending products containing at least 1,500 mg of CBD, and some finding that full or broad spectrum formulas with THC work best. Many members shared that while topical treatments provide relief, learning self-administered myofascial release techniques has been transformative, using various tools like foam balls, canes, and rollers on a mat while carefully controlling pressure and placement to avoid nerve irritation. A recurring theme was that fibromyalgia treatment requires patience and personalization, as what works for one person may not work for another, making it essential to experiment with different approaches and listen to your body's unique responses.

I have found a massage therapist who does myofascial release and she is very ge the and luckily she listens if something is too much.

I find full or at least broad spectrum with thc, like Sharon mentioned to work the best.
And like Vic said, 1,500 mg or higher- I usually do 3,000.

But nothing has ever worked for me like learning how to do myofascial release on myself. 😉
Once I stopped spot treating and learned to do it bottom to top things really started shifting for me.

I use a cream that has CBD, THC and Arnica in it. I buy it at health food stores, it really helps decrease my pain.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Sure, but I would also say if you were feeling any referred pain you were on a nerve or something you shouldn’t have been on.
You shouldn’t feel any pain when doing MFR.

Placement is key, which is why I think it’s best to learn from someone in person especially if you don’t have a firm grasp on anatomy. 🤷‍♀️
