These don't return my phone calls I've been concerned about my cousin's husband who has Parkinson's disease and yet she will not return my phone calls when I am inquiring how her husband is doing. And as far as this friend that I am referring to I can't never get her on the phone even though I leave her messages then when she decides to call me if I happen to miss the call because I am either not home or I am in the bathroom or I am outside watering the plants or putting out garbage then she… read more

Members rallied around someone struggling to stay connected with a cousin caring for her husband with Parkinson's and a friend who rarely returns calls, offering both emotional validation and practical solutions. Several members suggested using WhatsApp as a free alternative to overcome iPhone-Android texting issues, with detailed troubleshooting steps provided for setting up messaging between different phone types. A recurring theme was encouraging grace and understanding, reminding the original poster that caregivers are often overwhelmed and communication difficulties are rarely personal, while also affirming their worth and right to reciprocal relationships.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I am so sorry I know the feeling family not being supportive. Maybe when your next with them in person then tell them how you are feeling say you suffering, struggling and hurting and tell them you feel unsupported and you would really appreciate a little more support. Make sure when you tell them you feel unsupported you don't come across as angry start it as I know you have a busy life and that you need some support. Really hope you get what you need from them.1

Selfish people are toxic. I don't need or want toxic people taking my love for granted. If I am not a priority, then it is the other person's loss.

This is a new perspective for me. I have always bent over backwards for people. I have given till it hurts. I don't think I deserve to be treated badly and neither do you!!!

What's app is a free app that is available to text regardless of what kind of phones any people have. Now my current non-business contacts use this app.
